P.S. ARTS and the Antique Dealers Association of California invite corporations, antiques dealers, designers and other community members to participate in the Opening Night Preview Party and the 13th Annual Los Angeles Antiques Show.

Some of Los Angeles’s most prominent Architects, Designers, Artists and Actors welcome guests at this invitation-only event that is intended to stimulate dialogue between members of this prestigious community, all amidst the celebratory backdrop of an elegant cocktail party and some of the world’s finest antiques.

The Opening Night Preview Party on Wednesday, April 23rd, held in Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Air Center, plays host to more than 1,000 of the community’s most influential professionals and kicks off a weekend long event attended by more than 2,500 patrons of the art and antiques world. 

The 13th Annual Los Angeles Antiques Show, which runs from Thursday April 24th through Sunday, April 27th is a widely anticipated event showcasing 65 top antique and fine art dealers from around the world, representing furniture, objects, paintings and decorative arts from antiquity through the 20th century.

Last year was the first year for this collaboration between the Antiques Dealers Association of California and P.S. ARTS and it was a tremendous success.  Guests to the 2007 Opening Night Preview Party included Blythe Danner, Barbra Streisand, Emily Deschanel, Debi Mazar, Molly Sims, Amber Valletta, Dana Delaney and Steven Weber.  The event was featured in Angeleno, InStyle, Domino, LA Confidential and Los Angeles Magazine.

The money raised through the Opening Night Preview Party will go directly to P.S. ARTS, which restores arts education programs to some of the most disadvantaged public schools in Southern California.

Currently, the majority of California public schools has no arts programs – no crayons or paintbrushes, no music, drama or dance.  The Opening Night Preview Party most importantly allows us as a community to continue the important work of P.S. ARTS by allowing the future artists, architects and designers to blossom with the basic fundamentals as children. Help us to achieve our goal and reach more children this year.
